What does
the course involve?
This course is a flexible modular programme, which provides classroom
based training that provides you with the necessary skills and underpinning
knowledge for care work and can be completed within 8 weeks or up to
1 year from the day you start.
This is so that candidates can access training dates in the calendar,
which fit in with their personal schedules.
You will need to undertake 20 days in a voluntary work placement in
a care setting, working alongside experienced carers in order to successfully
complete the Introduction to Care programme and receive a certificate
of completion and achievement.
